Our hope was to get back to the Midwest at some point, but in the mean time we wanted to make this house feel more like our own. At the same time I wanted it to be 'ready to show' should the opportunity to move present itself at any time in the future.

What was was meant to be bump out in front and back with a raised roof turned into a complete tear-down — everything above the basement, which we lived in for the duration of the project. Seventeen long months later we moved upstairs, into this amazing home that was completely ours in every way.
